Minister Nyesom Wike stated on Friday that he cannot resolve every issue in the Federal Capital Territory, even if he were to serve as minister for 500 years. The FCT Minister made this declaration during the official commencement of the Collector Road C01 construction in the Institution and Research District.
This new infrastructure will connect the Body of Benchers area to Nile University and includes the construction of a bridge. Wike emphasized that while challenges will persist, his administration is committed to delivering its best within the available time and resources.
Addressing Infrastructure Needs
Wike assured residents that his team is focused on achieving tangible results. He acknowledged the continuous support from the Body of Benchers and highlighted the importance of collaboration. The FCT Minister pointed out that the road project is designed to benefit all commuters and residents in the area.
He called on the public to support government initiatives aimed at improving the capital city. “What is worth doing is worth doing well,” Wike stated, urging collective effort to ensure successful project outcomes. The FCT Minister remains dedicated to advancing development priorities despite the inherent limitations of the role.
