One person has died and several others suffered injuries after bandits attacked Idijiyi Unguwan Danladi Village in Kallah District, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The violent incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on October 19, according to a Tuesday report from security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Armed assailants stormed the community, abducting an unspecified number of residents. The attackers created chaos and fear among villagers during the assault.
Military Intervention and Rescue
A prompt response from the Nigerian Army’s strike force led to the rescue of some victims. Troops discovered the abducted individuals with gunshot wounds near Agwallan Centre. This swift action prevented further harm and secured the immediate area.
Casualties and Ongoing Treatment
Medical personnel confirmed one victim, 28-year-old Agnes Zafaniya from Afogo Village, dead. Her family has received her body for burial. Other rescued victims, including Augustine Madara, 31, and Zafaniya Alhaji, 42, are now receiving hospital treatment for their injuries. The community mourns the loss while supporting the wounded.
